My experience as a counsellor
I am Graeme, a qualified and accredited counsellor.
I live and work in Giffnock on the south side of Glasgow.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I am bound by their code of ethics.
I have worked in counselling for over 10 years in a variety of organisations. I have worked for organisations that you will be familiar with like Childline and also some that are less well known.
I offer a confidential service, I will work with your unique issues, help you find that way forward. Clients come from all walks of life, and find comfort, help and effective solutions in counselling.
I have helped with a variety of problems including:
- Bereavement or loss
- Abuse (sexual, emotional and physical)
- Relationship issues
- Low mood or low self esteem
- Coping with illness
- Life crisis
- Depression, and anxiety
- Crisis in your life (divorce, infidelity, redundancy)
- Mental health problems
- Worried about the direction of your life
I understand that clients are anxious coming to talk about problems and issues, which are deeply personal in their lives. That is why I would encourage you to call me and chat about any concerns you have, try to take some of the stress out of your first meeting.
Many clients have taken that first step before you, to come and work with me. After that first session many are amazed at how different they feel. Not that they have a solution, but that they had a chance to talk through and have their issues listened to and discussed. Something they wish they had done earlier. So if you are ready to start your road to recovery give me a call today.
